- Served as an elected Councillor in Keitchener, ON before moving to Calgary in 1982; an avid hiker and traveller who has kayaked to Ninstints on Haida Gwaii, hiked the Annapurna Circuit over Thorong La Pass in Nepal, taken a ballon ride over Bagan in Myanmar and visited Tiger’s Nest in Bhutan.
