The largest food forest planting in Calgary
On Saturday, June 11, 2016 Audrey Smith has organized the largest food forest planting in Calgary with 200 trees, bushes and other plants to put in the ground! Its a forest-in-a-day project! Food Forest experts from Regenerate Design will be on hand to help. Participants will learn how food forests work to provide food and habitat for generations to come.

Some planning details
- Make sure to complete the required paperwork – photo permission
- Make sure to wear work clothing that will allow you to dig and shovel without worrying including closed-toed shoes
- Although water, drinks and snacks will be provided, make sure to bring what you need to be comfortable throughout a day in the sun – hats, sunscreen, medications
- Arrive early to participate in training so you can learn as well as help
