If you are looking for information about membership such as garden membership purchase and renewal, the gardener’s agreement form, Getting involved with the Garden, the building plan and garden plan, Opportunities to volunteer such as planting, transplanting, pruning, weeding, watering, mulching, helping with compost and soil, our education programs, helping to make plant labels, etc or if you wanted to follow our blog, or just look at garden photos, we are trying to make it easier. Be patient as we are all volunteers.
At our Parkdale Community Garden Steering Committee meeting February 16, 2016 we had many items on the agenda. Moira, Audrey and our guest from the Silver Springs Edibles garden team brought us up-to-date on the monthly Speaker Series starting in April as a collaboration between Community Gardens in YYC. Team leads provided reports: Meghan for the Children’s programming coming to the garden, Marg for Compost and Soil, Colin and Maureen on communications (Facebook, Twitter, blog and webpage); Maureen on Perennial and herb gardens, Marcel on Build plans and Audrey on the Food Forest. We are working on creating dedicated pages for each of these teams to make it easier to follow… Most of these pages are just blanks-in-waiting…
