Bow River Pathway Closures and Detours through Parkdale

Following the June 2013 flood, the City of Calgary’s Water Services department has undertaken more work to repair damaged stormwater outfalls along the Bow River. As a result of this work, major closures to the Bow River Pathway system have been instituted by the city that will impact Parkdale’s sidewalks and roadways as pathway users are being redirected through Parkdale and the portion of West Hillhurst on the west side of Crowchild.

This work has started immediately and will continue through the fall. Please review the image below to review the pathway changes and detours.
