Last year, Calgary experienced the worst flooding in the city’s modern history. Since then, The City has been working on recovery and rebuilding for resiliency, examining mitigation alternatives and preparing for the possibility of future flooding.
This Thursday, May 15, The City is holding a flood information open house, 6-8 p.m. at Foothills Academy, 745 37 St. N.W. Officials from The City and the Province will be on hand to answer citizens’ questions about recovery, mitigation and preparation.
The session is open to all.
